About Me

Hello! Welcome to Full Time Mama!

Here’s the short story:

I am a 30-something year old wife to an amazing husband and a homeschooling stay-at-home-mom to 4 wonderful young children. I’ve devoted my life to the Lord, who has blessed me more than I ever could have dreamed.

ESP1I originally started this blog to share our family “happenings” with our out of town family members and friends. It didn’t take long before I discovered the world of blog reviews and giveaways, began to meet amazing people and develop wonderful friendships. I’ve discovered amazing new products for my kids and my family.

I’m thrilled to be sharing some of these amazing finds with you here.  Occasionally you will also find me at GoGrahamGo.com where I assist with reviewing products!

Here’s the long story (If you’re up for it):

Ever since I can remember, I wanted to be a mom.  As I grew I realized I’d have to choose a career path- being a mom wouldn’t pay the bills, and who knew when or IF I’d ever get married?!  I wavered from one thing to the next, not sure what decision to make.  I decided I wanted to train dolphins, and discovered I’d have to go to school to be a Marine Biologist; but once I realized that meant moving away from AZ I quickly tossed that idea in the trash.

Next, I wanted to be a social worker. The idea of helping those in need sounded wonderful, but I soon realized I didn’t think I could take the heartache. A few more ideas were tossed around, and I finally decided on an architect. Yes, that’s what I’d be. I’d be able to design buildings and houses and the like, and I’d make some pretty decent money.

My first job was at a daycare center. I worked there while going to a community college to get my associates degree and decide if an architect was truly what I wanted to go to school for.  I adored working with the kids, and quickly realized I still had NO idea what I wanted to do with my life.
I got another job working for a family friend;  Politics at the daycare center were frustrating me, but most of all I wanted to make more money in hopes of moving into my own place.

It was there I met my now husband.  After knowing him a year, we started dating, and after dating a year, he proposed.  10 months later we were married, and 3 months after celebrating our 1st anniversary I became a mama.

Throughout the first few years of motherhood, I worked odd jobs on my husband’s off hours so our baby (and later babies) wouldn’t have to be left with a babysitter.  I hated leaving my babies, but we felt I needed to work in order to pay our bills.  Thankfully- shortly before our 3rd baby was born- we realized we’d be able to live on my husband’s income alone, and I haven’t been back to work since. There have been some tough times, but trusting in the Lord has gotten us through.

I’m a full time mama, and I love it! Sure, I have my crazy days.. Who wouldn’t with 4 kids and homeschool and cooking and cleaning and, well, you know…  but this is the job I’ve always wanted, and I am so thankful and SO blessed!
