I did it!

As you can see, I finally figured out how to get my blog to be 3 columns! A few weeks ago, I tried it out on a test blog and it worked. I was too afraid to try it on here for fear that I may mess it up and end up losing everything. Well, I finally decided to do it and, woo hoo, it worked!

There’s no way I could afford to pay someone to do it, so I thought I’d try it myself. I have NO experience when it comes to xml, html, blah blah blah, whatever it all means. So, I did this all with help from The Cutest Blog On The Block. It was pretty easy to follow their directions, and after it was done, I just had to redo a few of my page elements to get everything to fit right. I also used a 3 column blog background in order to get everything to look right (this background is also from CBOTB).

So, what do you think? Is it easy enough on the eyes, or is there something I need to change? I am still trying to figure out Adobe Photoshop, and when I do, I’m going to try making my own background and header. We’ll see!

You did an awesome job! I’ve been tweaking with mine too but it’s frustrating..maybe I should a try a 3 column, but I’d want it all the way across the page.

  7. way cool… you are braver than I. I have tried a few things, and figured out some, but I don’t have the energy to try and figure that out, just yet!
