Saw a tweet about this and read the blog post. I cannot imagine! This makes me furious!! TSA had better do something to be sure that this NEVER happens again. They had better also do whatever they can to make things right with this family. Yet another MAJOR screw up with TSA… Surprise surprise.

  1. when I flew to Oregon, Kaia was 3.5 mos old. It was my first time going through everything with a baby and all the searches, etc. Kaia was taken out of her car seat and after we were cleared I set her in her seat again to reach for the other stuff. I had just done it so she wasn't buckled. One of the guys working the belt shoved everything down even though he saw me with a baby on the belt. Kaia started to fall out and onto the ground. I screamed and grabbed her before she fell on the ground. They did nothing, not even react. I was about to go off!

Though I think the blog post was really dramatic, I know for a fact that they wouldn't have taken my kid. I would've point blank said that they could search my child in front of me!!!

  2. I have no words for this… speechless.

  3. Thanks for sharing this. I read this post and trying to leave her a comment but was unable to. This is disgraceful and their is no excuse for this kind of treatment. I hope she follows thru on this to gets someone fired to make a point.

  4. That would have been horrible! I'm not sure if the security footage that the TSA has up on the blog are of her, but if it is-it doesn't look as though it went as far as she described?

  5. Wow. I can't even imagine what I would do in that situation. Awful.

  6. Ooh, have you seen the video that was posted on the TSA blog?

Hard to say what really happened. Maybe her anxiety made her exaggerate a bit?

  7. JamericanSpice says:

First I started to shake, then cry, Now I'm mad as hell for her! HOw could this happen!!!!!

My head hurts just thinking about it!
