A Blogtastic Extravaganza Sponsor Spotlight: Posh Pads review *Extra Entries*

A Blogtastic Extravaganza is less than one week away! I am so excited to be offering some amazing giveaways from some amazing companies! You’ll learn more about them over the next few days, as well as my experience with the products.

Starting things off is Posh Pads! Posh Pads was created by 2 amazing women, Robyn and Jessica. Being breastfeeding mommies (of 11 children between them!) they discovered the lack of style available in nursing pads. They decided to create something “pretty and environmentally safe”, and Posh Pads was born!
More recently, Posh Pantyliner Reusable Menstrual Cloths and Posh’s Milk Mama Hospital Gowns have been added. All products available from Posh Pads are made with organic material and super fun prints!

I speak from experience when I say that the nursing pads and the hospital gown are awesome!

When I found out I was expecting, a hospital gown was an item that I really, really wanted. I saw a post on the Posh Pads Facebook page about looking for expecting mamas to try the new Milk Mama Hospital Gown and take photos for the launch of the product. I don’t think I’ve ever typed an email so fast. I was crossing my fingers hoping I’d be able to participate, and when I got an email back I was ecstatic. I couldn’t wait to get the gown!

A short time later I got the gown, took my pictures, and then waited excitedly to be able to use it.

This is a picture of me from the Posh Pads site “modeling” (I use that term loosely) one of the gowns!

I finally went into labor, and as soon as I was admitted to the hospital I put on the gown.

My nurses and doctor were impressed with how well it was made, and of course how cute it was. I loved knowing that it was mine and had not been used by numerous other women in labor. The snaps down the back were wonderful; I could actually walk around without my backside hanging out! It was very comfortable to labor in, and after Connor was born I was able to nurse him easily by just unsnapping the shoulders. I definitely wasn’t in any hurry to change after delivery like I was with my other 3 deliveries (wearing the ugly hospital gowns). It has served well beyond labor and delivery as well; It works great as nursing pajamas!
(Funny side note: My doctor thought it was so nice, she actually asked me-while I was delivering!- if I wanted to change out of it so I wouldn’t get it “dirty”!)

I was also able to try a set of the organic bamboo nursing pads, and they are wonderful as well. They are super soft and very absorbent. They are thin enough that they aren’t visible through the nursing bra and shirt, which was a concern of mine. And they’re so stinkin’ cute! I LOVE the Nautical Shells design I received. I highly recommend that you get a few sets so you’ll always have a set to use while the others are being washed. Good luck choosing from the great variety of awesome prints!

I can’t speak highly enough of the amazing customer service that Posh Pads‘ Robyn and Jessica provide. Every correspondence I’ve had with them has been both professional and friendly. It’s clear to me that they strive to provide great customer service!
