The Baby’s Bundle review and giveaway! *CLOSED*

After having 4 children, I’ve determined one of the must-have items for any mom is a good quality baby carrier.  But with so many choices out there, it can be confusing and overwhelming trying to figure out which kind to get.

I had read a lot about wraps, mostly after I had my 3rd baby.  I had seen that it was very comfortable to wear, yet still offered mom and baby good support.  So when I saw a giveaway for the Moby Wrap from The Baby’s Bundle, I knew I had to enter it.  I wasn’t pregnant at the time- and didn’t intend to be again- but I knew it would make a great gift for one of my expecting friends.  When I got the winning email, I was ecstatic!  It wasn’t too long after I got the Moby that I discovered we were expecting again!  I couldn’t wait to be able to try this with our new baby!

Even though I wasn’t expecting for months, I had to open the Moby and check it out.  I chose the chocolate colored Moby.  I fell in LOVE!  It is such a gorgeous color!  The material is so soft. I was a bit shocked at how much material there was though, but after reading the instructions included I realized just why there was so much.  I experimented a little with putting it on.  I’ll be honest, it took me a while to get it figured out.  I was overwhelmed with all of the material, and was a bit frustrated with it because I hoped it would be easy for me right away.  I hoped maybe it was just the pregnancy brain making it hard for me to figure it out, and decided to wait until baby’s arrival before messing with it again.

Within days of returning home from the hospital, I decided to put the Moby to the test.  I was a bit worried since my baby was so little that it wouldn’t hold him well, but I was wrong!  I was able to get the Moby on fairly easily this time, and got him all snuggled up.  It was comfortable for me to wear, and I was relieved that he was held securely. We went for a walk around the neighborhood, and he slept soundly the entire time.  I liked how it held him close to me and covered him a bit, keeping him from being exposed to the sun and overly-friendly people.

I have used the Moby frequently ever since.  There are multiple ways you can use the Moby, allowing baby to face toward you, face out, on your hip and more!  As a mother of 4, there are many times I am unable to hold my baby, but he really wants to be held.  I often wear the Moby when doing housework.  This makes him happy to be held, makes everyone happy that he’s happy, and it also keeps him out of the way when I’m trying to get things done!  For a while I avoided using the Moby for outings to the stores, however, because I was worried about getting it dirty trying to get it on, and not wanting to have to worry about the time it would take me to get it on.  But after a few months of using it, I figured out how it all worked and am now able to get it on with ease.  AND I’ve discovered, to save time, I can put it on before I leave the house, so when I get to my destination I just grab baby, put him in and go!

I’ve had many moms ask my opinion on which carrier to get for their babies, and the Moby is always one I recommend now. It can be used from birth (even preemie!) up to 45lbs, is machine washable, and is great for moms and dads since it fits any body shape!  And for little girls who want to wear their baby dolls, a Mini Moby is available for purchase as well! SO adorable!
