Back In Fluff: Rockin’ Green review and giveaway!

Rockin’ Green is an eco-friendly, clean-rinsing laundry detergent formulated for use on all fabrics and especially useful on cloth diapers. Rockin’ Green produces detergents for hard, soft and normal water conditions.

When I decided to cloth diaper, I learned about the need for special cloth diaper friendly detergent, and learned about Rockin’ Green and what a great detergent it was.  I was impressed watching the video on the Rockin’ Green site about how it was different than other detergents, with a demo showing exactly how.  I could see how Rockin’ Green really did rinse clean!  I knew I had to try and get some, and was so excited when I won my own bag of Rockin’ Green, making it the first detergent I had for my cloth diapers.  I loved the variety of yummy scents available!

I also loved how clean my diapers became and how fresh they smelled when washing them in Rockin’ Green.  On many occasions I have “rocked a soak” on our cloth diapers, each time with fabulous results.  I’ve even rocked a soak on my kids’ clothes that were in danger of staining or began looking dull, and have yet to be disappointed with the results.

Rockin’ Green has made some changes to their detergent since I got my Rockin’ Green win; They now offer 3 different formulas based on the type of water in your home- Soft Rock, Classic Rock, and Hard Rock- and they’ve changed the scents available as well.  These new blends have lower PH than other detergents on the market, (making it even gentler on fabrics and diapers), and it’s also undergone cosmetic testing and dubbed safe for even the most sensitive skin (this was done on the unscented soap, Bare Naked Babies).

I always had great results with the old formula, so I’ve got to be honest and tell you that this new formula doesn’t seem different to me than the old formula was. However, if we didn’t have a water softener, I’d be all over the Hard Rock, (since Arizona has hard water), and I’m sure I’d be as happy with it as I have been with Rockin’ Green all along.

Buy It: You can purchase a 45/90 load bag of Rockin’ Green detergent starting at $14.95 (additional $1 for Hard Rock formula). OR, you can…

Win It: Rockin’ Green has generously offered one winner a 45/90 load bag of Rockin’ Green in your choice of scent and formula! Open to US and Canada!
