Adorable alarm clocks from Paper Scissors Rock: Review and giveaway {2011 Holiday Gift Guide}

Paper Scissors Rock offers a huge selection of unique whimsical clocks, magnets, greeting cards and more.  Designs on these products are original designs by the owner of Paper Scissor Rock, Pamela Corwin, making these items one-of-a-kind.

Paper Scissors Rock clocks and magnets are reproductions of original paintings by Northwest Artist Pamela Corwin and are created in her studio in Olympia, Washington. Pamela works in acrylics and watercolors, sometimes adding elements of collage to her work. She has been in business since 1981 and her work has been featured on several national television shows and in magazines such as House Beautiful, Seventeen and Pacific Northwest. In 1996 she was commissioned to paint an egg for the White House Easter tree and designed the Pike Place Market Festival Poster in 2000. Pamela also teaches local classes on the business of crafts.

I love the bright colors and whimsical designs available.  I appreciate the huge selection of products available at Paper Scissors Rock, and love their uniqueness.

We were able to choose an alarm clock to review.  The clock is a 2 inch square.  The alarm clocks at Paper Scissors Rock are very unique in that they feature PSR’s own original ‘floating second hand’- a tiny little image which appears to magically rotate around the face of the clock.

Brooke has been wanting a clock in her room, (though she’s not quite yet mastered telling time on an analog clock), and I found the perfect clock for her on the PSR site!  It has an adorable flower image, with a bee “buzzing” around the face of the clock with each ticking second.  It is brightly colored and matches the colors and decorations in her room perfectly!

Brooke loves big puffy heart LOVES this clock. It sits right on the shelf next to her bed.  Since the moment she got this, she frequently runs to her room to “check the time”- no matter that there are clocks all over the house!  Each guest that has been to our house since she received this clock gets an up close look at it, as she comes running from her room and excitedly shoves it in their face so they can see it.
