BOX4BLOX Review and Giveaway {2011 Holiday Gift Guide}

My 7 year old has a love affair with Legos.  I think most boys do.  Most parents, however, probably feel how I do; I love that he loves them, I love helping him create things, but cleaning them up… That’s another story.  If you have kids who love Legos, you know how it is:  They take out every Lego to find the exact size and piece they need for their creation, and if they don’t pick up every.single.itty.bitty.piece, you end up either stepping on (ouch!) or vacuuming up the precious Legos.

We have wrestled with what to do to sort and store all of my son’s Legos to make things easier, and while we’ve had a few different things work well enough, we were thrilled to learn about BOX4BLOX.

BOX4BLOX sorts and stores Legos; Up to approximately 1500 -1800 Legos!  There are 4 stacking boxes, each with holes in the bottom that allow smaller Legos to fall through to the next box.  The smaller Legos fall through, keeping the larger Legos at the top and the smallest Legos in the bottom. Not only does it make finding the right size Lego easier, but it makes cleaning them up fun too!

My son could not wait to use this!  He immediately ran to the biggest storage box he used for his Legos, popped off the top and began dumping all the Legos into the BOX4BLOX.  He was so excited and fascinated watching them sort for him, and  I was impressed at how well it actually worked!

I can tell you I’ve heard the unquestionable sound of Legos being shaken and shuffled over and over and over again since we got the BOX4BLOX.  Logan loves to play with his Legos even more now that he can just unstack the boxes and easily find the pieces he needs.  Sometimes he is merely entertained by gently shaking the BOX4BLOX and sorting the Legos in there.  Cleaning up after he’s played with his Legos is fun too, and since the little pieces remain in the box I don’t worry about stepping on them or vacuuming them up. The BOX4BLOX tucks neatly away, allowing for less clutter than all the other boxes we previously used to store Logan’s Legos.  It’s a win-win!

We are thrilled to have a BOX4BLOX and insist you get one too. You won’t be disappointed!
