This is my absolute favorite banana bread recipe. It is SO moist and tastes fabulous, of course!  I especially love to heat it up for a few seconds in the microwave before I eat it.  Add real butter and I’m in heaven!

I love having a great recipe to use when the bananas we have manage to get a little over-ripe. Often times the kids want to let a few of them “get yucky” so I can make banana bread.

  1. Yum! I JUST made Banana Bread yesterday, but I have a couple more bananas in the freezer, so I can try this next! 🙂

  2. Mmmm! The cinnamon chips just might magically turn into chocolate chips around here… 😉
    Looks delicious!

  3. This looks so good. I've never had cinnamon chips.

  4. Yum! I LOVE banana bread. I haven't made it for awhile though, but now I really want to! 🙂

  5. This recipe actually looks like it might be better than mine (my banana bread is requested at Christmas time in all the baskets I give out). I will try it, but I always substitute applesauce for the butter/oil in these recipes. Better for you, and less fattening!

  6. I like to bake with bananas. Thank you for the recipe!

  1. […] Somebody get me out of my funk!!  I haven’t posted a recipe post in a few weeks, so I have nothing new to share. Blah.  However, since I have some new readers due to the Spring Fever Hop (Kalorik steam mop giveaway!), there are quite a few who haven’t seen some of these older recipes.  So today I’ll re-share a fantastic recipe (complete understatement) for the Best Banana Nut Bread! […]
