Yes ladies, it’s about that time. Swim season is quickly upon us, and whether we like it or not, chances are we’ll be donning a swimsuit at least once this summer. Living in Arizona, weather is warm enough to be swimming now, if you can believe it!
Other than a few of my teen and early 20′s years (when I was crazy, ha), I have always preferred more modest swim suits. I struggle to find a comfortable, modest swimsuit; Even the tankini tops tend to be very low cut, and I get frustrated and dread even more the already agonizing chore of purchasing a swim suit… Until now. I am a tankini girl. I prefer the separate top from bottoms but in no way feel comfortable or appropriate showing my belly, so tankini tops are perfect for me! I chose this top because I not only loved the print, but love that it’s a sport top. This means it has a shelf bra sewn in, offering me the support I want and need. It features straps that tie 3 different ways as well:
This top is very comfortable to wear, and I feel like I look halfway decent in it- a must if I’m going to be seen in public wearing it. I really like that I can switch up the way the straps are too.
I am also a girl who prefers to wear shorts bottoms as opposed to briefs. I am genetically cursed with big thighs, and even when I was in my very best shape I still felt more comfortable in shorts bottoms because they offer much more coverage. This is why I chose the hot shorts bottoms. However, when I put these on, I was quickly reminded why I usually try on swim shorts bottoms before I buy: some are much shorter than others, bringing far more attention to my thighs and backside than I prefer. I think I’ll probably really like these… as soon as I get my rear and thighs more toned. For this reason, you won’t be seeing me pictured in the bottoms. However, I have a pair of longer black shorts bottoms I can wear with the awesome tankini top until I feel ‘in shape’ enough to wear the hot shorts bottoms. 
If you prefer the brief style bottoms, they have quite a few different styles, including Tummy Tuk bottoms!
