This past week was crazy busy with the Celebrating Dad event (enter to win great prizes now) and I didn’t get to blog about a recipe. SO, I’m going to have to pull out an old one again. Since we have new visitors to DDT each week there’s bound to be someone who hasn’t seen this recipe yet right? So, this week I am sharing my recipe for Chicken Waldorf Pitas.
This is a fantastic summer recipe since it’s cold, and it’s also a great way to use up leftover chicken! The only one in my family who isn’t a huge fan is my husband, who doesn’t really like sweeter flavored food for dinner. Haha. I’m sure there are substitutions that can be made to make it a little bit lower fat, but we love it just like this!
After visiting last week’s contributors to Delicious Dish Tuesday, my favorite recipe is Creamy Carrot-Zucchini Soup, from Natures Nurture!
I love soup, but we don’t eat it often because it’s cold SO rarely here in Arizona. However, when I find one that looks yummy I love to keep it on hand so I’ll be ready with a new recipe when it is colder! This one looks great, with a handful of veggies and some great spices to flavor the soup! Can’t wait to try it!
Now it’s your turn!
