Aroma Rice Cooker- 2012 Holiday Gift Guide

We probably eat rice with dinner about once a week.  It’s cheap, quick, easy and delicious.  Cooking it just got a lot easier too, thanks to the Aroma Rice Cooker!

Because we have a family of 6- as well as my mom who eats with us multiple nights a week- I opted to go with the 12-Cup Digital Rice Cooker & Food Steamer.  I wanted something that would make enough rice for all of us, as well as something easy!  It really couldn’t get much easier with this cooker, (and it looks pretty on my counter too)!

To make the rice, simply use the enclosed measuring cup, add rice to the cooking pot, add the proper amount of water directly to the cooking pot, close and press either white rice or brown rice to start! It’s seriously SO easy!

The cooker automatically sets the cook time, and counts down from 10 minutes to let you know when it’s getting close to done.  There’s even a light on the display that tells you when it’s cooking.  When it’s done, use the serving spatula to plate the rice!

What I also love about this is that there is a steam tray included, so I can simultaneously steam meats and vegetables while the rice cooks below!

This is great if I want to make an entire meal in one pot and save myself a ton of time and a ton of extra clean up.  The first time I used the rice cooker I also steamed broccoli in it for our dinner.

There is also a programmable 15-hour delay timer, so I can add rice and water in the morning and program it to cook later in the day so it’ll be ready in time for dinner!

Also pretty amazing, when the cooking is done, the nonstick inner cooking pot and all accessories removable and can go straight in the dishwasher! Booyah (as my kids would say).

This would absolutely be a fantastic gift for anyone who enjoys cooking, OR a busy mom who could benefit from an appliance to make cooking and clean-up quick and easy!

  2. That looks awesome! Justin is from Hawaii where they eat rice all.the.time. so he always complains that I don’t make rice often enough- maybe if I had this I would!

  10. rice cooker reviews says

This makes the quality of the rice that they produce even better
still. Making use of your rice cooker will open
up a lot of health benefits as well. In my case, I am half
Japanese and I was raised eating white rice every day.
