Busy Books and Quiet Books For Kids- 2012 Holiday Gift Guide

Growing up I watched my mom sit behind a sewing machine and create the neatest things.  One of the things she made were these awesome quiet books (or busy books) for people who were having babies.  When I found out I was expecting my first, I was thrilled to find out my mom would be making him his very own quiet book!

She’s made these so much over the years, but a few years ago began selling them for some extra money.  She is self employed, so knowing retirement is getting nearer every year she knew she’d need some way to bring in some cash when she can’t work anymore (and doesn’t have the normal “retirement pay” coming in like you would at a normal job).  Not long ago I convinced her to set up an Etsy shop to sell the things she makes.  It’s  been so fun to see the orders come in, especially the repeat customers that order for their family and friends who are expecting.

If you’re lo0king for a unique, fun, one-of-a-kind gift for a special child, check out the adorable CUSTOMIZABLE quiet books and busy books from Sew N Sew Fun!  Books can be customized with the child’s name on the front, and with some books you can choose which pages you want included!
