Educational Insights Sneaky Snacky Squirrel Game #Giveaway

I’m always on the lookout for fun new games for my kids that are also educational.  When I was recommended the Sneaky Snacky Squirrel game from Educational Insights, I knew it would be perfect!

Your forest friends are hungry and they need your help! Spin the spinner, squeeze the matching colored acorn with your Squirrel Squeezers, and place it into your log. Be the first to your log with delicious acorns and you win! You could also spin “pick an acorn,” “steal an acorn,” or “lose an acorn,” so be strategic, little squirrel!

My oldest was out of town when we opened this game, but since it’s geared more for 3-5 year olds I wasn’t too concerned.  My mom was over for dinner and since she loves to play games too, the kids knew they could count on Grammy to play with them!

The kids and Grammy had a blast!  Even just-turned-2-year-old Connor loved playing,  and for a kid who is learning his colors, I was shocked at how fast he picked them up while playing this game!

The spinner spins well, which is wonderful.  I can’t tell you how many games we’ve played that the spinner is lame and I have a hard time getting it to spin, let alone the kids!  This spinner was easy for all of us.  With the multiple options on the spinner, the game is very unpredictable- so much more fun!

The adorable squirrel squeezer was fun too.  It is a wonderful way to help Connor with his fine motor skills (not bad for 5-year old Erik either), but we all enjoyed using the squirrel squeezer to pick up the acorns.

Probably best of all (other than how fun it is) is that the game is very well made.  Every piece of the game is sturdy and durable- a must for a kids’ game!  Even the box, (which is used as part of the game), is good and sturdy.

We have played this game so much since getting it, and it’s been a true source of enjoyment, even for us adults!  Educational Insights has tons of fun educational games… Stay tuned for another game review and giveaway from them soon!!
