Connor is at a difficult age (for quite a few reasons, most of which I won’t get into now). However, one issue we have is that he is too short to sit in the dining room chairs, but he wants to sit with us and not in his high chair; He needs a booster chair. We currently have a booster/high chair that buckles to the chair and has a removable tray. It worked great for when Connor was a little guy, but it’s far more than we need now. Connor dislikes it because it makes him feel like a baby, and I’m hating it because it’s so bulky that it won’t push up close enough to the table to eat without a mess and it’s a pain to store when I need to remove it to use the chair for, say, company or something. We borrowed a booster seat from my mom which was less bulky than the one we have and could be pushed up to the table, but it was still bulky enough that it wouldn’t push up close enough to the table when he ate, it wouldn’t push under the table when we were done eating and it, too, was difficult to store. I figured better to let her have it back and just use what we already had, but I’ve not been thrilled with it.

Baby Bjorn has an awesome Booster Chair that has fixed all of those issues for the both of us! It’s small enough that it stores easily, allows me to push the chair under the table and leave it there, hides/stores well when needed, yet it’s tall enough that it gives Connor a tall enough boost to sit in the big chairs at the table with us. Connor is thrilled because he no longer feels like a baby in this booster, but a big boy who can sit at the table with the rest of us- a huge issue for his 2-year-old self who insists he’s a big boy!

This chair has smooth surfaces that allow for easier clean up; no tiny crevices that collect food and make it hard to keep clean. It’s lightweight at just over 2 1/2 lbs, and has a handle that makes it easy to tote around.
This is beneficial to us because we can take it with us when we go out to eat (no more using those filthy booster chairs from the restaurants- ick!) and we can also take it when we go to friends’ homes for dinner.
Aside from the convenience, there are great safety features too. The straps are non-slip and lock securely to hold the booster in place, and there are also non-slip mini-pads on the bottom side that keep the booster from slipping and sliding around on the dining room chair (perfect on our leather chairs).
It features a neat two-stage lock on the back that makes it easy to properly tighten and secure the straps to the chair. The seat itself has ribbed to keep kiddos tooshies from sliding around on it as well.

We have been thrilled with this booster chair and we’re all so glad to have it. As you can see, it’s not only made mealtime easier, but any activity that needs to be done at the table!
