I don’t know about you, but I’ve been having a very hard time finding good quality clothing for my kids anymore. Buying for 4 kids isn’t cheap, and it frustrates me when I get them new clothes that break down, fade, shrink, tear, etc, within one or two times wearing and washing!
I’ve seen Tea Collection quite a bit recently, and I adore the clothing I’ve seen! However, I was curious to find out how well their clothing stood up. So I got busy shopping…
Browsing the site and trying to pick only a few things was nearly impossible for me. I loved so many of the outfits, especially the dresses and leggings for girls! The boys outfits were awesome as well, but since I wanted to get something for each of my kids I knew I’d have to go with just a shirt for each boy. I decided to let them pick out their own shirts from the New Arrivals (gotta love the newest stuff)!
Logan knew within a second that the Black Mamba Tee was what he had to have.
Just like his brother, it took Erik seconds to decide the Lion Mask Layered Tee was the one for him.
Connor wanted every single shirt he saw, so I picked for him. I wanted something different than his brothers, so I went with the Vilakazi Stripe Purity Tee. I love the alternating blue and green stripes, and it will make a great top for layering too.
Each of the boys has loved their tops. Erik loved his so much he even slept in it the first night, and each of the boys has chosen to wear their new tops rather than their ‘old’ clothes more often than not. I can’t blame them; they look sharp, and we all know it’s fun to wear new things!
Of course, there were tons of choices for outfits for Brooke, and I decided to choose one and surprise her. There were so many I adored, but since it’s warm 90% of the year here in AZ, I wanted to go with one that had a short sleeved top. I went with the adorable Joburg Wrap-Neck dress and matching Mini-Stripe Rib Leggings for the cooler days.
It’s a tiny bit big on her, but as fast as she seems to grow she’ll be fitting perfectly into it in no time. That said, it still looks adorable on her even now.
To say she was excited when she saw this outfit would be an understatement. We both adore the wrap top and the ruffled sleeves of the dress; it adds a unique look to the dress. I love the contrasting material around the waistline and neckline of the dress. I also appreciate that this dress has a higher neckline and goes nearly to the knees. It’s getting harder and harder to find girls’ clothing that is appropriate and modest. I have no worries with Tea, as each of their pieces are modest and appropriate for little girls.
The leggings are a cute addition to the outfit, and offer a perfect amount of added warmth for Brooke in these cooler winter months. I love that they match the dress perfectly, but can also be worn with other tops and dresses Brooke has.
I’ve washed these pieces a few times and the material has held up perfectly. I’ve had no issues with fading, shrinking or additional imperfections caused from washing and drying.
As we pass down the clothes the kids have it’s important to me to find and purchase clothing that I know will last. It’s so hard to find good quality clothing anymore, but I have no worries now that I’ve found Tea! Erik and Connor are excited to know that they’ll get to wear their big brothers’ shirts when they get older, and I’m excited to know I’ll have to purchase a few less tops for the boys when they’re bigger.
