Riddle Moo This, A Silly Riddle Word Game from Learning Resources- Review and #Giveaway

prod3772_3_lgI have another awesome game from Learning Resources to share with you- Riddle Moo This.  As with all of the games we’ve received from Learning Resources, this provides not just fun for your children but learning as well, encouraging and improving reasoning skills and vocabulary.

Ridde Moo This is a silly riddle word game for kids ages 5-8, but it really is fun for the entire family.  The game is played with 4 large animal-sound buzzers (horse, dog, cow, and rooster) and 150 double-sided cards.  There are 2 levels of game play as well as “Barnteaser” cards which offer an extra challenge.  The first player chooses a card and reads the clues aloud. For example:

The first play to buzz in with the correct answer gets to keep the card, and the first player with 10 cards wins the game!

We all really enjoyed playing the game, but before we could even get started I had to give the kids time to play with the animal buzzers;  They are so fun with their mooing, neighing, crowing and barking! (Note: they each take 2 AAA batteries which are not included in the game).  At first we only had enough batteries for one buzzer, so we took turns playing with each one and laughing at the sounds.  The buzzers alone would have been entertaining enough for the kids, but of course they were also anxious to play the game.  When we only had one buzzer, it made for a fun switch up, seeing who could race to hit the buzzer first to answer the question! Check out this action:

Answer!

I was pleased that there were a great number of cards so we didn’t end up having the same questions every few games.  I also appreciated the level of difficulty, with some easy and some more difficult to mix it up.  My kids impressed me with how quick they were to come up with some of the answers, and it was fun to see that the questions presented a challenge for all of us at times.  There were times my 5-year-old beat us all to the buzzer, and other times it was hard to tell who rang in first because they were all so quick!  Yet other times there was silence until they finally gave up.  Either way, they have so much fun!

Fun

I love that the animal buzzers can be used at different times as well, making them great for other trivia games and even incorporated into our homeschool games!  It’s quite a laugh at times to suddenly hear a rooster crow or cow moo…

We all have a blast every time we play the game or play with the animal buzzers.  We’re definitely enjoying our new Riddle Moo This game!

** Before I give you a chance to win your own Riddle Moo This game, I wanted to share with you our awesome customer service experience with Learning Resources.  When we got the game for review one of the buzzers wasn’t working properly- it was sticking.  I sent an email and in less than 24 hours I had a response apologizing and telling me that they had already sent me a replacement.  In less than 4 days it was at my front door. AWESOME!! I already loved Learning Resources for their amazing products, but this made me love them even more!**

This is the perfect game for your kids to play together, or for the entire family to play for family game night!  Enter to win Riddle Moo This by completing the rafflecopter form below.  Giveaway ends at 12:01am EST on 4/21.
