It’s Summertime, and We’re Enjoying it to the Fullest!

Wow, this blog is lookin’ sad lately, isn’t it? I only feel a tiny bit bad about it though. You see, Summertime is here and we are enjoying it so much!

summer activity guide sunLast week we took a trip up to Colorado for a church reunion.  It was amazing.  We had a blast, were so spiritually uplifted and strengthened, and tightened our bonds with church family.  As soon as the last service ended Logan’s first words were, “Can we come back to the next Colorado Reunion?”!  It’s our plan to try, at least!

We’ve also been spending a lot of time together enjoying the fun summertime activities around here, such as the free programs through the library- including their reading program and free shows like magic shows and reptile shows- lots of swimming, and even bowling!! (AMF is offering free bowling for kids all summer long- you only pay for shoes for each kid. Check them out, we’re having a blast!)

Our church’s Vacation Church School begins in 2 weeks, and so I’m also busy finishing up the craft lineup for the kids.  We have another trip planned for later in the summer, camping trips planned, and lots of other fun things we’re anxious to take advantage of this summer!

All of that said, the blog will likely reflect this.  I have some fun reviews to post, a few giveaways, and lots of personal posts I’ve been writing in my head and need to get typed up to share.  Please be patient with me and don’t give up on me! 🙂  For now, head over and enter the giveaway for a fun game called Mental Blox from Learning Resources, or head over and share a yummy recipe with me on the Delicious Dish Tuesday posts!

And of course, ENJOY YOUR SUMMER!! 🙂  If you need ideas, check out my Summer Activity Guide!

  2. Wow! It sounds like you all are having a fun summer! I remember summertime as a kid. We would go on one vacation and then the rest of the summer we would be at home playing outside. I am sure your kids love doing so much activities! It sounds like fun!
