I can’t get enough of the Fox Restaurant Concepts (FRC) restaurants, and Zinbuger has quickly become one of my favorites. Not only is the food amazing (seriously, I make myself sick every time I eat there because I just can’t stop), but they also have large portions at fantastic prices.
This summer Zinburger has sweetened the deal by offering $3 kids meals as part of their special Camp Bo-Vine menu for kids aged 12 and younger (through August 31st)! The menu includes their choice of hamburger, turkey sloppy Joe, grilled cheese or chicken fingers, alongside a tasty side and drink, including strawberry lemonade or cherry vanilla cola.
We just got back from a trip out of town, and while we were on the road we stopped for fast food at a burger place. We paid over $40 for all of us and the food was disgusting. My kids love getting the kids meals, but we can barely stand to pay the prices for them to start, not to mention the tiny portions!
Zinburger’s food can’t even be compared. First off, the kids’ meals offer the traditional french fries, but also have healthier options in their sweet potato fries or salad with ranch. Additionally, the portion size is amazing. My kids choose the chicken fingers and the cheeseburger. The chicken appeared to be an entire chicken breast cut into strips; plenty of food for my kiddos.
Since my 9-year-old son eats like an adult I let him get a burger that was on the regular menu and not the kids’ menu. He chose The Ringer: Nueske’s Applewood Smoked Bacon, Frank’s Red HotOnion Rings, Pepperjack Cheese & Mayo. Sounds good right? Generally he can put down more food than me, so I was pleased to see that this burger filled him up and he even had some left to bring home.
My mom came with us and got to experience Zinburger for the first time. My mom isn’t a big burger person, but she couldn’t get enough either. She ordered the Zinburger (and added avocado): Manchego Cheese, Zinfandel Braised Onions & Mayo.
I got what I always get (because it’s THAT good), El Diablo: Fire Roasted Jalapenos, Pepperjack Cheese, Caramelized Onions & Chipotle Mayo. SO.GOOD.
I also ordered us the Double Truffle Fries, which are topped with parmesan cheese and chives. I’m drooling just thinking about them. SO.GOOD. (Have I mentioned how much I love the food at Zinburger yet?) 🙂
Of course, we can’t leave Zinburger without having one of their shakes! The littler kids got strawberry shakes, my 9-year-old got a big cookies and cream shake, and I got my favorite, the salted caramel shake.
I’d be willing to bet that you were sold on trying Zinburger based on the pictures of the food alone, but I hope that my recommendation has sealed the deal for you. Just try it, you won’t be disappointed!
Thanks to FRC, one of you will get to experience Zinburger on their dime! That’s right, one winner will get a $50 g/c to Zinburger. Take the family for dinner (you can afford to with the $3 kids meals!). Take a hint from me: Get the Double Truffle Fries!!
