I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for OxiClean. I received a product sample to facilitate my review and promotional item as a thank you for participating.
When you’ve got kids you know stains are going to happen. I really thought my boys would acquire the majority of the stains on their clothes, but my daughter does a decent job keeping up with them. My older boys get more grass stains than anything (no matter how often I tell them, wrestling in the grass is the thing to do…), but for my 2-year-old Connor it’s all food.
He was wearing an adorable new shirt on our recent Disneyland trip when we decided an ice cream cone was in order. He wanted chocolate, and it wasn’t until it was all over him that I remembered I should have covered him up first. I immediately tucked a napkin in his shirt to cover him up, but the damage had been done.
The day after Disneyland we drove up to my grandparents house to visit, where I immediately put some stain remover on the shirt. I saturated it since the stain had set overnight. I followed the instructions, and pre-rinsed and washed, and guess what? Still there. So I went through the process again. No luck. I had pretty much given up hope that the shirt would get clean.
Then I came home from vacation to find the shipment of OxiClean Versatile Stain Remover from Mom Central, and got started with fingers crossed. I found another stained shirt of Connor’s that I absolutely adore but had already given up on, just to see what might happen. I followed the directions for getting out tough stains and waited to see what would happen.
I was shocked when I pulled the shirts out of the washer…
And just in case you need a side-by-side to really tell…
Since I save all of my boys’ clothing to pass down to the next boy, it’s very important to me that I can keep them in good condition, no matter how hard they may try to destroy them with their crazy, typical boy behavior. It’s also very important that my daughter’s clothes stay clean so they’ll last her as long as she needs them, and so I can pass them down to family friends of ours.
It used to be that stains were tough to get out, but I’m not worried about it any more. OxiClean Versatile Stain Remover has come to the rescue; both of our clothes and my pocketbook. I can’t wait to watch it work it’s magic on other stains around the house (I have a few spots on the carpet that could use some attention). I’m also stoked to see how it helps to boost cleaning and whitening in my daily laundry.
So what is it about OxiClean Versatile Stain Remover that makes it work so well? It is a chlorine free and color safe, oxygen based stain fighter. Activated by water, its unique ingredients go to work unleashing bubbling oxygen power for safe, effective cleaning and stain removal. In the wash, it enhances your wash water pH to improve your detergent’s cleaning ability and also contains special ingredients to help rinse soils away. It can be used on clothing (as you’ve seen above), but it also works great on stains throughout the home, including carpets, upholstery, and hard surfaces in your kitchen and bathroom. I’ve personally witnessed OxiClean take out blood stains on carpet (play-date mishap that resulted in stitches) and I was so impressed.
If you’re looking for something that’s free of dyes and frangrances, they’ve got that too, both in OxiClean Free Versatile Stain Remover and OxiClean Baby Stain Soaker. If you’re looking for a sure-fire stain remover, give OxiClean Versatile Stain Remover a try… You’ll be thrilled with the results!
