I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for belVita. I received product samples to facilitate my review and a promotional item as a thank you for participating.
The first thing my kids ask for when they wake me up (yes, they wake me up) is breakfast. Of course I’m sure to get them their breakfast, but then it seems like I always get distracted before I get myself breakfast; it’s time to start school, (we homeschool), I run to start a load of laundry so it’s done before on-peak hours kick in and we pay more money, somebody spills something and I’m trying to get it cleaned up, the phone rings… There’s usually always something to distract me. Because of this, I don’t always eat breakfast, and most of the time I don’t even realize it until my stomach starts to growl.
We’ve all heard that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and there are days I know why; if I don’t get something in my stomach first thing, I drag for the rest of the day. No more, though, thanks to belVita.

I was sent both the Mixed Berry and the Oats & Chocolate belVita Soft Baked Breakfast Biscuit to try, and I love them! Now I can grab something quick and tasty that’s also nutritional!
I’m usually all about chocolate, but the Mixed Berry is so good that I have been unable to decide which I like better. I even cracked open one package of each flavor the other morning and went back and forth, bite by bite trying to decide which was better and I just couldn’t… YUM.
My husband has even started to grab them on his way out the door to work in the mornings. Now that he’s gotten a promotion at work his workload has increased significantly, and he often misses meals because he’s just too busy to eat. These are a great solution for him.
Do you find yourself busier lately with getting kids back to school? Lifestyle mom, Dana Hilmer, has some great tips to make life a bit easier for you. Here are a few I think are awesome (and I know will help me too)!
-Take a little time each night to get organized for the following morning. By making lunches and selecting outfits before bed each night, you’ll free time each morning for other things.
-Be sure to keep healthy snacks in the kitchen for after-school snacking. Nuts, crackers and fruit are great to give kids right when they walk in the door to keep them from grazing on unhealthy snacks, or spoiling their appetites for dinner.
-Use Sunday nights to plan your dinners each week. If you take a few minutes to think about how you can creatively use the leftovers from one night to the next, you can create a full week’s worth of healthy, tasty dinners that your family will enjoy.
-Back-to-school season is also cold and flu season. You can keep your entire family healthy with these simple habits: eating well, getting enough rest and washing hands regularly.
And of course, be sure you get breakfast too, before you start your busy day! Grab some belVita Soft Baked Breakfast Biscuits to save yourself some time without skimping on nutrition. You can find belVita in the cookie and cracker aisle at your local grocery store. If you’re not sure which store near you sells belVita, check out their website on the ‘where to find‘ tab!
