Good cookware is something I’m always on the lookout for. It’s easy to find cookware, but it’s not always easy to find good cookware. I also love cookware that is appealing to the eye; colors are more fun, right?! Something that is non-stick is a must (this busy mama doesn’t have time to scrub or soak), and- most importantly- something that is safe for my family.
Ecolution Cookware is a full range of eco-friendly cookware, created from a passion for cooking and concern for the planet. The cookware features Hydrolon, an ecologically advanced water-based non-stick coating made without PFOA.
We were sent products from the Evolve line, including an 8 inch frying pan and an 11 inch griddle. The heavy aluminum bottom features a decorative pattern and textured heat bands for even heating and better culinary results. It’s oven safe to 350 degrees F, and with its soft, squeezable, silicone stay-cool handles you have a comfortable grip with no worries of burning your hands.
We’ve used the griddle quite a bit and I am loving it! The Hydrolon non-stick coating is amazing; it seems far better than the non-stick coating that our other pans have. The first time I made pancakes on this griddle I added butter (since I have to do that with my other non-stick pans) and it clearly didn’t need it.
The frying pan is really nice, but it doesn’t get as much use since we have such a large family and cook in large quantities. It is the perfect size for omelets though, and the non-stick coating makes for an easier cooking experience there too.
I think what I’m loving most about these pans is the easy clean-up. If I happen to have the sink filled with dishes I’m washing by hand, a quick swipe of the soft sponge on the surface of the pan is all is takes to get it cleaned. If I don’t happen to have dishwater ready and waiting, I can just throw this in the dishwasher to be cleaned with the rest of the dishes! As I stated before, I don’t have time to sit and scrub pans, and I don’t have the counter space to leave them sitting and soaking (or the desire to see pans soaking and waiting for me to get to them to clean them). I am loving my Ecolution cookware!
