Fashionable, Beautiful, Eco-Chic- Naturally Knotty Wrap Review and #Giveaway | 2013 Holiday Gift Guide

logo-nkdI was sent the following for review purposes. All opinions are my own.

Here in Arizona it doesn’t get too terribly cold in the winter-time compared to the rest of the country, and much of the “normal” cold-weather apparel and accessories necessary everywhere else just aren’t necessary here.  Up until recently scarves were something I didn’t think I needed, but I always loved the look of them and secretly wanted a reason to need to wear them.

The fact is, however, that just because it doesn’t get as cold here in Phoenix as it does everywhere else does not mean that it’s not cold to us. I mean, we’re used to hot temperatures, and once we get below the 70’s I get cold.  Yes, you can laugh, but it’s true! 🙂  While we don’t necessarily need gloves or snow boots, for instance, a scarf or warm hat is a welcomed accessory in the cooler winter months.  Not to mention how much cuter you look with a scarf draped around your shoulders!

This is why I was so excited to be able to review not one, but two scarves from Naturally Knotty!  But before I share with you what I received (and how much I LOVE them), I want you to know a little about the company themselves…

Naturally Knotty is committed to providing eco-chic accessories using environmentally-friendly manufacturing practices. We accomplish this by integrating components of factory scrap, factory overstock or recycled materials whenever possible.  Naturally Knotty designs and imports every product we sell. Our focus is on doing what Warren Buffet refers to as “good old fashioned trade business.” We keep our margins fair (paying a living wage to our manufacturers and always avoiding inhumane or sweatshop conditions) and overhead low to pass value on to you. We believe the processes and practices of making our luxury fashions should be as beautiful and sustainable as the designs themselves. In other words, one person’s lifestyle should not be to the detriment of another’s. This is also why we focus on giving back to those in need as often as we can.

This is certainly a company worth supporting, and after you see their gorgeous wraps you’ll be even more thrilled about purchasing from them.

First, I was able to review a Modal Wrap in teal. This is a lightweight wrap, made with 100% Modal (Beech Tree Fiber) with a flat weave construction and a 1 inch eyelash fringe.

Beech tree threads are combined together to make a new luxurious textile that looks as good as it feels.

This is so soft and beautiful and I am loving it! It is quite large- 50″ Width x 76″ Length- allowing for multiple ways of wrapping and draping around your body;  It can also be used as a swimsuit wrap!

wrapSince it’s nearing Winter weather, I took a little liberty when editing a not-so-great cellphone selfie and added some snow; of course here in Phoenix there will be no snow, though it was raining at the time I took this! 😉

The size is generous but not too large- 28″ x 70″ – with a fringe length of 4 inches.

These generously-sized luxurious wraps are made from bamboo pulp fabric, 100% Viscose from Bamboo. Unlike other, more expensive wraps, they will not pill or fade and are extraordinarily soft. Bamboo is an all-season fabric that will breathe in the summer and keep you warm in the winter.

Both the Modal and Bamboo Wraps are machine washable and come in 13 different color/print options- I need to get more.  However, Naturally Knotty has more than just Modal Wraps and Bamboo Wraps!  From Chiffon Wraps to Merino Wool Wraps to Embroidered Wraps and more, you’ll find the perfect wrap to complete any outfit in your closet.

If you’re looking for a gift for yourself or a loved one, visit the Naturally Knotty website to see all they have to offer.  Additionally, check your local Costco Warehouse store this holiday season for Naturally Knotty’s display and stock up.  You can bet I will be!!
