Once again, more great toys for the kids.  This time we had the opportunity to review the adorable Cindy Lou Who doll from Manhattan Toys, as well as the awesome MOTORWORKS vehicles!

First, the Cindy Lou Who doll.  We love The Grinch movie, and watch it all year round, so the Cindy Lou Who doll was immediately loved by my daughter.

Cindy Lou Who dollIt’s soft and squishy, cute as can be, and just plain fun! I love the soft plush slippers and the detail on the dress.

Cindy Lou Who detailManhattan Toys has more than just Cindy Lou Who though; they have a few Grinch plush dolls (Amanda reviewed one of them!), and they have Max too! If you’d prefer finger puppets over plush dolls, they’ve got those too!  But it doesn’t stop with The Grinch characters; Check out their line of Dr Seuss plush characters! I love the Horton plush and The Lorax finger puppets!

Of course, my boys flipped when they saw the MOTORWORKS vehicles.  We were sent the MOTORWORKS SPP Super Speed Power Pack 1.0, the MOTORWORKS TPP Sport Truck Power Pack 1.0, and the Motorworks Race Pace Power Pack 2.0.

MOTORWORKS vehicle setsThe vehicle bodies are made of European beech wood and have smooth rolling wheels. They also have a convertible chassis allowing you to mix-and-match and snap-on other MOTORWORKS accessories. Plus, the removable wheels, accessories and cab can interchange with other MOTORWORKS vehicles, making them totally customizable!

Motorworks_REV960x390Since we received 3 different sets, my boys were able to play with their own sets AND trade pieces to change up the look of their vehicles.  The pieces are easy to remove and reassemble, but not so loose that they fall of during play.

AssembleThe boys had fun assembling and changing the look of their vehicles, and with the Custom Car Decals (stickers) we were sent, the boys were really able to deck out their rides.

decalapplying stickerscustomPlayThe only thing I wish is that the truck set – which came with the 2 big tires- came with 4 tires. The boys don’t mind if the vehicles have the big tires in the front or back only, but they’d really love to be able to make them “monster cars/trucks” by having 4 big tires rather than 2.  Looks like we need to buy an accessory kit to remedy that!

Big wheelsIf you have kids who love The Grinch characters, or who love to play with cars, these toys are perfect for them!  If those toys aren’t your kids’ style, check out all of the other fun products at Manhattan Toys and find the perfect one for them!

Holiday Button 200Amanda also received toys for her kids from Manhattan Toy. Check out her review of the Wobble and the Grinch!
