Give Your Child the Gift of a Loveable, Huggable Friend this Valentine’s Day- Build-a-Bear Review and #Giveaway

During my last holiday gift guide I shared our very first Build-a-Bear experience.  My kids still play with and sleep with their Build-a-Bear friends every single day and night, and they still talk about their experience building their friends; they love stuffed animals and want to go back and make more at Build-a-Bear.  They come by it honestly… As a kid I’d spend all of my money at “the claw” at the arcades and grocery stores trying to get the stuffed animals, I’d happily take stuffed animals friends and family members were wanting to part with, and getting a stuffed animal as a gift was one of my favorite things.  I had multiple hammocks in my bedroom holding stuffed animals, an entire shelf on one wall for stuffed animals, and a bed overflowing with my favorite ones.  Their rooms are quickly looking like mine did, however, so far there is no stuffed friend more special to them than their Build-A-Bear friend!

The Build-A-Bear experience- being able to choose, stuff, and personalize a friend- was such a unique, exciting event that they haven’t forgotten.  For this reason, I wasn’t sure how excited my daughter would be about receiving a Build-A-Bear in the mail, already stuffed and customized.

21192_21102_21100_21148_20631_200I chose one I knew she’d likely to choose for herself if we were to go in-store- the Tons of Love Elephant– and waited anxiously to see her reaction.  I was pleased to see that the friend still came in the special Club Condo Carrying Case- with a special design for Valentine’s Day- and my daughter was beyond thrilled when she opened the box.  revealShe named her Tons of Love Elephant, Rose. Perfect!

Tons of LoveThe adorable Tons of Love Elephant is a little girl’s dream; pink fur, purple eyes, heart ears and nose, and the cutest little tail.

Tons of Love ElephantShe came to us dressed in Sequin Heart Dot Tee & Tutu Outfit, Red Sparkle Bow Flat shoes, Sequin Heart Purse and Red Sequin Heart Antenna. She’s so pretty!

Sequin Heart OutfitLike many of the Build-A-Bear friends, the Tons of Love Elephant is super soft and cuddly, and has already joined Diamond, (my daughter’s other Build-A-Bear friend), next to her in bed.
