Last week I received a small package in the mail. I had been having one of my usual hectic weeks…homeschooling two kids, chasing a 14 month old around, trying to keep up with a mountain of laundry and dishes, and knowing my husband was about to be going out of town for a week long training class for work. This is my normal life (minus my husband being out of town), and most of the time I love my chaos…most of the time. This week though I was tired. And feeling the need daily for extra doses of caffeine (intravenously perhaps??), and trying (and failing) to come up with any conceivable way to squeeze in nap; when this package arrived in the mail. As soon as I saw who the sender was, The Vintage Pearl, I suddenly had a burst of energy and couldn’t get that package open fast enough. I realize it takes very little energy to open a bubble wrap envelope, but trust me that day I’m surprised I had it in me! The reason I was so excited is the personalized necklace I’d ordered had finally arrived. I couldn’t wait to pull it out and see the final product. I was not disappointed! The only word I can think of to describe my new necklace is LOVE. I love it! The finished product turned out exactly as I had pictured it, and I couldn’t have been more excited about it. The best part though was it reminded me of exactly why I spend my days the way I do. Those three names stamped onto that necklace are the reason I get up in the morning. The reason I clean up the same spilled milk on a daily basis. The reason I’m lucky enough to have the best job title in the world…mom.
If you’ve been eyeing one of these necklaces for awhile, like I had been, don’t wait any longer! You won’t be disappointed when you choose The Vintage Pearl to create your keepsake. The only problem will be choosing which one of their awesome designs it will be. I had so many I really liked, but finally settled on “a layer of love”. At that point I thought my decisions were over, but then remembered I still had to choose a font, another hard choice! I knew no matter which one I chose it would end up looking great because I had seen different ones shown as I browsed jewelry designs.
There were so many things I loved about The Vintage Pearl. With each item being hand stamped you know quality is of the utmost importance. It also gives you the freedom to create whatever combination of names etc you want. So whether you have just one baby or are more along the lines of the Duggar family, The Vintage Pearl has something to fit your needs. The best part of all for me though is I get to satisfy my sentimental mom side and the one who drools over cute accessories as well. We all love our macaroni necklaces, but this is one you can keep for years to come and also wear with your favorite outfit. I got so many compliments on mine the first time I wore it that I knew it was a keeper. The best compliment of all though came from my oldest when he saw my new necklace for the first time. He was so excited to see his name long with his brother’s and sister’s, and with a big smile on his face he said, “You got this because you love us don’t you mom?” Yes son, I did.
With Mother’s Day around the corner now is the time to start dropping hints for your own gift, or choosing something for your mother, grandmother, sister, aunt…you get the idea. With necklaces, rings, bracelets, and other keepsakes to choose from you’re sure to find something that’s just right for anyone you have in mind. They even have a section for men if any of you guys are feeling a bit left out. But we’ll save talking about that for Father’s Day, because right now it’s all about you mamas!
