Call me old fashioned but I love mail. Real mail. You know the kind that requires an envelope and a stamp, not an inbox? I love getting it and I love sending it. Maybe it’s from my days writing letters to my friends I met a summer camp, yes before email, text messaging, and Facebook we wrote actual letters. Wow, I’m really dating myself right now…so much for feeling like a young “hip” mom. Don’t get me wrong I still love my technology. I can still wield my tablet, my not-so-smart phone, text like a teenager, and spend WAY too much time on Pinterest. But I digress, getting back to mail. There is just something awesome about getting a real card or letter in the mail. It shows someone took the time to get out pens and paper, spend money on a stamp, and look up your actual address just to show they were thinking of you. My husband’s grandparents are wonderful at this. My children get cards, with handwritten messages, for every holiday. They start getting them as babies and the cards continue to come year after year. Even my little ones feel special when they get mail addressed just to them. I’m one who likes to keep stationary around the house so whenever I get the notion to send a little note to a friend I’ve got something around to do it with. Which is why I was excited to hear about a new online stationary company called Oubly.
On my first visit to their website I read a little bit about them and immediately liked them because they shared some of my own thoughts about sending people personal messages. Now I realize they’re a stationary company so OF COURSE they promote the importance of sending personal messages to friends and business associates…but that doesn’t make it any less true. What I had the most fun doing though was browsing their large collection of personal and business related stationary. Their line includes birthday invitations, birth announcements, door hangers, business cards, and much more. (They even have stickers, which I had to get for my boys! They were thrilled to see their names printed on each one.) Each item is uniquely designed and able to be personalized to meet your specific needs. I really wished I had a birthday party to plan because some of those invitations were just so darn cute!
After I finally made my selection, it was hard to narrow it down; I chose the Heart Flow note cards from the watercolor collection.
Each product they offer is able to be fully personalized by choosing the text, fonts, round or square corners, and even envelopes. Doing so makes their product completely personal to you. The shopping process is easy to follow and orders are processed and shipped in the timeframe provided at checkout. Oubly doesn’t stop there though. Not only do they create functional and beautiful stationary they take the extra step to deliver it in an elegant and carefully assembled package.
Each card is designed and delivered with care right here in the United States. Based out of Los Angeles, California Oubly not only strives to deliver a quality product, but an eco-friendly one as well. Their papers and inks are made with conservation in mind and they recycle throughout the production process to minimize waste while maintaining high standards of quality for their customers.
Whether you’re planning a corporate event or just looking to say “thank you”; check out Oubly for your next stationary purchase. They offer the convenience of online shopping, with a wide range of one of a kind designs to meet your needs.
