Last week Tela from Sweet Southern T shared a recipe for Cherry Dumpcake. I love the simple ingredients it uses- it’s the perfect dessert recipe for company or potluck. I don’t dare make it for anything but a “group” gathering because I know I’ll eat it all!

I wanted to go along with the theme, so I’m sharing my fruity cake recipe, and though it’s not a dump cake, it is upsidedown – Pineapple Upside Down Cake. This is a recipe I shared a long time ago, so the photo is not very great. I need to re-make the recipe so I can get a better picture (and again, make it for company or pot luck so I don’t eat it all)! Don’t let the mediocre picture fool you though- it’s an amazing recipe!
