With the rising thermometer we’ve been craving anything cool and refreshing. With fruits being on sale every week, I’ve been making smoothies nightly with dinner- we are loving it!! We get the cool refreshment we’ve been craving, PLUS these are healthy so there’s no guilt. That’s right I said healthy- NO added sugar! And they’re easy too. It takes me no more than 3 minutes from start to finish. Here’s one of the smoothie recipes I’ve been making that we like best. Enjoy!
- 3 cups ice
- 1 cup blueberries
- 10 strawberries, stems and leaves removed
- 1 banana, peeled
- 1 cup orange juice
- Add all ingredients to blender (ice on bottom) and blend until smooth!
- If you prefer your smoothies thicker, add a bit more ice. If you prefer them thinner, add a bit more juice. Easy as that! You can easily change up the flavor by adding different fruits such as raspberries, peaches, mangoes, etc.
