Welcome to a new week of Delicious Dish Tuesday, where we share our recipes and ask you to share YOUR awesome recipes with us!
Last week Jillian from Creating Sliver Linings shared a recipe for Tikka Makhani (Butter Chicken). I have a similar recipe I make and we absolutely love it, so I cannot wait to try Jillian’s recipe! For those of you who have dietary needs, this recipe is also gluten free, corn free, and egg free!
Thanks so much for sharing, Jillian! Feel free to grab our featured button below!

A few years ago we went to visit a friend of ours who had just had a baby. Her mother was there helping her out with the new baby and cooked us an amazing meal- Chicken Tikka Masala with Basmati rice and Makhani Dal (buttered lentils). She used to live in India and manage/cook in a restaurant (or something of that sort) at the US Embassy so she learned all kinds of great Indian dishes. I was so excited when she sent me her version of this recipe so I could make it at home. It’s a pretty lengthy ordeal to make it all, but it’s so worth it- the food tastes amazing! The rice dish is one I make regularly when I cook anything that needs rice as a side- the flavor is so amazing with the cinnamon/clove/cardamom infused oil.

Thanks for hosting! I’m honored that you chose my Butter Chicken as a featured recipe this week. 🙂
I’m sharing my super simple coconut sugar simple syrup — a great vegan low glycemic alternative to honey and agave syrup.
This dish really looks good. I have not tried Indian food before but have always wanted to. I pinned the recipe.
I have never done Indian! I should give it a try!
