It’s a rainy day here in Phoenix, (a very, very rare occasion), and we’re loving it! Rainy days make me want to do two things; 1- curl up on the couch with my blanket and a cup of coffee/tea/hot chocolate, and 2- bake. I know, I can’t bake AND curl up on the couch at the same time, but I can do both in one day. So far today I’ve done the first, so all I have left to do is find something to bake. I want something with less guilt than cookies or pies, so my go-to is bread (SHHHH! Don’t shatter my skewed reality by telling me it’s just as bad). Wouldn’t ya know, last week Paige from Tomatoes for Cucumbers shared her Paleo Banana Bread recipe. Score!! It seems more and more people are on the Paleo diet, and I’m thrilled to see so many great recipes being shared for them! Banana bread is one of my favorites, and I think everyone should get to enjoy a piece (or two or three). So for all of you on the Paleo diet, enjoy this banana bread!
I have a banana bread recipe I make 9 times out of 10 (not Paleo, sorry). It’s moist and delicious. The secret is the sour cream in it (plus the yummy spices I add to mine too), and is is ah-ma-zing! Give it a try and let me know what you think! (I have GOT to get a new photo next time I make it. Blah)
