Create awesome forts with Happy Kid Company! Review and Giveaway {2011 Holiday Gift Guide}

As kids, my brother and I loved to build forts in our living room with the couch cushions.  We made some pretty sweet forts!  Sometimes it was difficult to get them exactly how we wanted though; keeping the sheets from falling down was so hard, especially as a kid.

My kids are no different. They also love to build forts, but get frustrated and often ask for my help.  I do my best, but it’s still not always easy.

We’ve found a new way to build amazing forts with The Fortamajigs from The Happy Kid Company!

The Happy Kid Company has created a line of products with kids and parents in mind!  These products not only make fort building easier for kids, but they also provide excellent benefits for kids, such as critical thinking, team building, problem solving and imagination!  They’re also great for parents, since you won’t have to worry about your kids taking apart your couches or linen closet to create their forts anymore!

We received the Fortamajig Fun Fort to review.  The Fun Fort is the newest product available from The Happy Kid Company, and it’s already won a Parents’ Choice Silver Award! My kids were very excited to see what kind of forts they would be able to build with this.

The Fun Fort has built in stretchy loops all around it. These stretchy loops are velcro, so they can be attached to chair backs, stair rails, doorknobs, tree branches… You get the idea.  The Fun Fort also comes with extension loops to give further reach.  There are corner pockets on the Fun Fort where you can place things to help keep the corners down, or you can hide your treasures in it!

I love that the Fun Fort is easy for them.  They did ask for a bit of help to create exactly what they wanted, but have been able to do it all on their own as well.  While the creations we’ve made don’t always look like much, the kids love them!  It is easy to clean; it can be sprayed off or machine washed. I also love that the Fun Fort comes in a portable bag and folds up nicely to fit in it.  No big mess in my house!

Buy It: The Fortamajig Fun Fort comes in Blue, Lime and Hot Pink, and can be purchased for $39.95 from The Happy Kid Company!
