I need recipe help!!

So this may make you laugh, but I have a boneless flat cut beef brisket and have no idea how to cook it or what to make with it. So I’m enlisting your help!

I’d love it if you’d share your favorite beef brisket recipe with me!  I’d be eternally grateful!

Better yet, I’d REALLY love it if you would take a picture, post the recipe to your blog and share it with me and my friends for Delicious Dish Tuesday, the new recipe blog hop I’m hosting with my friends Amanda at Coping With Frugality and Johanna from Mama Chocolate!

If you’d prefer not to blog and just share with me, I’ll still be thrilled!  Feel free to shoot me an email or link to your recipe in a comment below!

  1. this is pretty hilarious because I just bought one too and am not sure what to do with it! My mom would make the corned beef with the spice packs that would be packaged with it and I liked that just fine. This is a nice basic recipe and instead of the red wine, you could put in a box of beef broth. http://www.foodnetwork.com/videos/tylers-beef-brisket-recipe/84297.html

  2. Hi,
I'm stopping by from the Alexa Rank Help
also added you to my circle and on my blog right now I'm having a giveaway for a Cook'n Recipe Organizer come and check it out. If you have a smoker then that is the best way to cook one.

    Have a great day.

  3. I wouldn't have the slightest!! But I'd love to see what you do with it!!!

  4. The way we make it is to rub the brisket with one or two packages of Onion Soup Mix, no water. Place in foil lined pan and cover with foil (a roasting pan with a lid works well, too.) Place in about a 210 degree oven overnight ( or anytime: about 8 or 9 hours–give or take–depends on size of brisket, but it's not brain science 🙂
Warning: The smell is pure, mouth-watering torture! I think that's why we do it overnight and don't try to live with it during the day.

  5. I don't eat beef but I hope you found a fantastic recipe! 🙂
