So Much To Do, So Little Time!

Phew, I’m exhausted.  I think I say that every day.  I am a stay-at-home-mom- a huge job in itself.  I homeschool my kids- also a huge job.  And everybody knows merely caring for a household is another job in itself; cooking, cleaning, laundry, dishes…  I know I forgot a few things, but my brain is pretty much mush, especially by the end of the night.

Now, add on blogging- especially lately with all of these reviews and giveaways for the holiday gift guide– and I’m slammed.  And there never seems to be enough time in the day to do it.

However, sometimes I need something to get my mind off of the chaos and the impending list of “to dos”.  So at night, after the kids are tucked away in bed, I get online.  Sure, I do a lot of blogging, but I enjoy chatting with my friends on Facebook and I enjoy playing games as well.  I love playing games with friends- such as Words with Friends- but I also enjoy games that I can play on my own. Playing games gives me a short reprieve from working.  Okay, sometimes a long reprieve which I kick myself for later;  Why work when you can play? Totally kidding, stuff has to be done. BUT if I get a little time off- some time to ‘check-out’ for a bit- I feel like I can focus better when it is time to get some work done. is one place to go and play games for a while.  If you enjoy chatting, you can do that there too!

As for me, I’m off to play some Words With Friends! I’ll be back to blog later… 😉

What do you like to do to get your mind off of things?

  1. Lately it has been an extremely hot bath. With my husband’s back surgery, Zoe being sick and go-go-go I’m tired! Here I am up at night blogging though:)

  2. I know how crazy and hectic it gets and being a SAHM doesn’t mean it’s easier! Taking a few minutes to relax and play online sounds like a great idea to me. =)

  3. I totally feel you on the stress! It’s such a busy time of year all-around.

  4. You already know I feel the same way lately.. so much to do, and so little time. 🙂 I don’t play online games much, but I do like to play board games with the family.. or have movie night. That helps to get my mind off things and relax.

  5. It is nice to take a few minutes for yourself and mindlessly play an online game – I really need to do that every once in a while. Any me time would be SO appreciated.
