Quicker, Easier Dinner Prep with Trudeau Products- #GetCooking Review

Let's Get CookingWe were sent the following products for review purposes. All opinions are my own.

Welcome to day 3 of Let’s Get Cooking! Today I’m excited to share with you a company I’ve been recently introduced to; Trudeau.

Trudeau has tons of kitchen products available, from kitchen gadgets, to mills and spices and more!

We were sent quite a few awesome products from Trudeau, and I love them all.  They’ve made cooking and prepping for dinner so much faster, easier, and way more fun!

cutting boardI want to start with the Chop N Clear Cutting Board.  When my husband saw this he asked why I got this when we already have a cutting board. Oh yes, we have a cutting board, but not like this one! The Chop N Clear Cutting Board has 2 drawers- one on each side- where you can store your chopped foods while you chop the rest.

drawersI make a green salad frequently, and when I make a salad I like to have lots of veggies in it.  I love that I can chop the bell pepper and move it into the drawer to clear the cutting surface to get started on the next vegetable, and so on.

chopped veggiesWhen I’m done chopping all of the veggies I simply pull out the drawer and dump the contents into the bowl. No more picking up handful after handful of veggies.

DrawerAdditionally, the Chop N Clear has a drain channel to redirect liquid into the drawers to keep a clean space.

It also is non-skid (stays put while you’re cutting) and has a non-scratch base. Drawers lock into place for compact storage.

I am seriously loving this cutting board, and our old cutting boards have taken a backseat and begun collecting dust since I received this. It’s awesome!

Next, we were sent the Toss & Chop.

Toss & ChopAs I mentioned previously, I make a green salad often.  I have a few gadgets that make it easier for me when making a salad, but I think this is my new favorite. I hate having to tear up the lettuce for the salad.  Seems the pieces are either too big or too small, and I just plain don’t like to do it. The Toss & Chop has made this a non-issue.  I simply place the lettuce into the bowl and use the Toss & Chop to cut it all up for a perfect chopped salad!  It doesn’t stop at lettuce either. I can place the veggies into the bowl and cut those up too, if I want.

Chopping lettuceIt doesn’t stop at salads either. You can use it just for veggies (which I’ve done for meals), or make salsa right in any bowl.

veggiesThe Stainless Steel blades have micro-serrated edges so it never needs sharpening.  And, it’s dishwasher safe!

I also appreciate the safety measures they’ve taken with the Toss & Chop.  The blades are very sharp. I have a 3-year-old who loves to get into anything, and the other 3 kids love to help me in the kitchen and aren’t always safe or cautious. The handles on the Toss & Chop lock for safe and convenient storage.

locking handleI like that, while the locking part is clear to me, it isn’t obvious to the kids, especially my curious 3-year-old.

In a few days I’ll be sharing a few more awesome products from Trudeau.  In the meantime, go check out Amanda’s Trudeau reviews of the Over-the-sink cutting board and Trudeau’s mixing bowls!
